The shape is designed to grip hard, but the lips are well supported to hold it's shape in a drift. The core is closer to the center to give better wear characteristics. This one has been a long time coming. Blood-red 80a urethane. 72mm x 58mm. Smooth contact surface with 90-degree inner and lightly-beveled outer edges. Offset bearing seat and composite core

Steezy wheels for down hill and can hold up for a toe side or heel side drift but nothing more.

72mm 78a Cannibals

Awesome wheels that are kind of oxymoronic. They ride fast and grip hard, but still slide like a dream!

Equipment Reviews

How long have you ridden them?
1 year (mutiple sets)
What Setup are you running them on?
Chopped Sector 9 BHNC
Bear Grizzly 852s
72mm 78a Cannibals
Typical Discipline?
Fast Freeride and some Downhill and cruising to class
How much did you pay for them?
$52.95
Where did you buy them?
Longboardskater.com
What are their weaknesses?
Relatively hard to break out at low speeds because of the square lip; not for slower, "techy" no-comply and big spin type tricks.

Seismic Tektons didn't fit quite right in them and made them chatter through slides, but I've heard Tektons only really fit well in "freeride cores" like roundlipped raceforms, powerballs, freerides (A-end cores?).

They get kind of icy at the core, but most wheels do that.
What are their strengths?
Very durable, especially after the switch to white in all duros. The urethane is pretty forgiving too; a quick, accidental slide at 90* won't ruin your wheels as easily as some other, more freeride oriented wheel.

They have a very controllable slide, especially at speed; I wouldn't be as comfortable on a narrow, round lipped wheel when I'm throwing big standies at 30+ for fear of icing out.

New, they're very fast and grip very hard, but still slide out if you want it to. Even broken in, they seem to grip more than another broken in race wheel.
What similar equipment have you ridden?
Gravity Hi-Grades, Phat Deanz Willyz, Rad Advantage, Divine Road Rippers
Would you recommend them?
Yes
