Newsflash

Not all skate shirts are black!   Check out the Silverfish Gear Page .  There are new men's, women's and kids' shirts!  (Some are even black.)

We're using "spreadshirt", so you order straight from them.  Dig through the listings and you'll find some classic 'Fish designs, including shirts with art taken from member Ryan's art-pen drawings.  Check back for new designs, as we prepare to release the Fall Line (soon as Armani signs off...)

Buy them in a 83a duro (the purple ones) if you are going to slide because i have heard bad news about sliding for others with the 75a and 79a duros...

I simply can't tell you to buy these wheels, unless I have a crappy batch (I have white wheels, with a blue core) the urethane durability just flat out sucks. I pulled about 5 slides, and they are already chunking, its ridiculous and it really makes me angry.

Other than that, they are good all around wheels, light, grippy and they have a nice smooth slide, especially for that shape of wheel.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: About 3 months total
What Setup are you running them on?: Evo, Bears, JimZ's and Swiss'
Typical Discepline?: DH/cruising/commuting
How much did you pay for them?: came with complete
Where did you buy them?: Mile High Skates
What are their weaknesses?: After one day of sliding, they had lost a lot of urethane and have many chunks missing now, and its really ridiculous.
What are their strengths?: They have a smooth slide, they are very light and are plenty of fun to ride.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Flywheels (83 and 90)Gumballs, and Superballs

These wheels are RAD!!!
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: a month
What Setup are you running them on?: Landyachtz Evo/Bear Grizzley's/Pleasure Tools Abec 7's
Typical Discepline?: Parking Garages, DH, Cruising
How much did you pay for them?: $60
Where did you buy them?: www.pressuredroplongboards.com
What are their weaknesses?: I have not found any yet... The thrashing that wmegginson experienced is likely due to the fact that these wheels are made for DH, and not for pumping about all over town. So if you pump a lot, don't by these wheels b/c they will thrash quickly!!!
What are their strengths?: GRIP, GRIP, GRIP. When they drift there is NO chatter, just very smooth and they hook right back up. These are my favorite wheel for handling tight corners, such a better alternative to Flywheels
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Flys, Speedvents
Would you recommend them?: Yes

A $55 dollar set of wheels shouldn't start shedding urethane after a month!
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: about a month
What Setup are you running them on?: They are currently on a 23" Glass Grenade, but they spent most of their life on a flexdex pro 40
Typical Discepline?: Commuting, LDP, Parking garages, Bike trails
How much did you pay for them?: $55 ish
Where did you buy them?: Pressuredroplongboards.com
What are their weaknesses?: After about 3 days of riding I noticed cracks in the urethane. Then after about 2 weeks I took an 1nch long gash out one of the rear wheels, and then tonight I took a sizeable gash out of another wheel in a smooth parking garage.
What are their strengths?: They look amazing, pump up to speed quickly, and with the large cores they really hold their speed like cruise control. They grip really well through turns and when they finally lose traction they are real progressive and drift back into line comfortably. Basiclly they are great wheels EXCEPT they don't last!!!
What similar equipment have you ridden?: 70mm 75a Grippins that I've worn down to 62mm Grippins without losing any chunks of urethane.
Would you recommend them?: No
