good wheels. i just feel like getting the 82a ones because on the road i ride the most(really grippy/rough surface) it would be more fun to be able to bust into slides a little easier... but if i go back to the smooth parking garage i would definately put the 78a ones back on. oh and they're pretty fast i suppose
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: a few weeks now
What Setup are you running them on?: drop wedge, 42 plates with dh hangers, bearings with 8x8mm spacers and speed rings
Typical Discepline?: freeriding, very slight downhill.
How much did you pay for them?: uhhh forgot
Where did you buy them?: daddies i believe
What are their weaknesses?: well weren't all perfectly poured but thats expected from any wheel. require a 8x8mm spacer as apposed to the regular 8x10mm spacing.
What are their strengths?: very controllable once you ride them hard for a little while. work well in parking garages. i've had a few slides/predrifts while standing up/tucking without putting a hand down. and once without even touching the board. pretty good transition from grip to slip due to the very rounded edges.. narrow contact patch but haven't had a problem with losing grip... oh and they're sideset so if you have wide hangers but feel like running a narrower hanger just flip your wheels for more leverage over the wheels...
What similar equipment have you ridden?: 76mm 78a S9 raceformulas
Would you recommend them?: Yes
