Some other notes: Like the other reviewer said, they don't hold up well in wet conditions.
Once you get used to the way that they slide, they aren't all that bad. They just have to be broken in and you have to understand their slide pattern. I would just like it if they were a bit harder or softer, because you can't really have a wheel at this price range that excels at carving and sliding. These wheels carve and grip until they're broken in, then they're damn near useless for anything but medium dh and tricks.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: About a year
What Setup are you running them on?: NS Norad, RII 180s, Khiro barrels.
Typical Discepline?: Carving/commuting
What are their weaknesses?: They transfer a lot of what you ride over to your feet, due to their huge core. It's not the most comfortable ride.
They don't grip a whole lot after being broken in, but don't slide much (because of the shape) either.

What are their strengths?: When they do slide, they're short and fairly predictable. You aren't going to be able to practice colemans, but if you need a little extra push to get around a sharp corner, they'll do it.
Would you recommend them?: No

these seem like okay wheels but i am not overly fond of them, i would rather spend the money on fly wheels.

These wheels have one of the snuggest bearing fits I've seen. they also let you transfer your weight on them smoothly.
Equipment Reviews
How long have you ridden them?: About a year
What Setup are you running them on?: I ride em' on my ancient Arbor pin with stalk gull wings and custom lucky titanium bearings
Typical Discepline?: Bombing hills, carving, board tricks
How much did you pay for them?: 45 dollars
Where did you buy them?: thelongboardstore.com
What are their weaknesses?: They have NO grip in wet conditions....NONE, as if they were riding on lube. They will also predictable slide out when carving at high speeds which makes some people nervous but you get used to it.
What are their strengths?: They are very fasts and one of the most durable 78a wheels on the market.the large core keeps them in great shape. they also don seize up when they go over dirt like some other wheels. The bearings stay clean for a pretty long time in them too because they are so deep in the wheel core.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: Gravity Hi-Grade 76mm 80a Orange and these beat them out by a long mile.
Would you recommend them?: Yes

How long have you ridden them?: 1 month
What Setup are you running them on?: NS Eclipse with paris 150's.
Typical Discepline?: Garage, Cruising, DH, Standup Sliding
What are their weaknesses?: Large core generates a slightly harsh ride. Use 8mm bearing spacing.
What are their strengths?: Good all-around wheel. Fast due to the large core. Slide predictably, grippy.
What similar equipment have you ridden?: so many wheels.....
Would you recommend them?: Yes
