Newsflash

Bad News Dept:  Montreal's Top Challenge is Cancelled.  The '08 edition of this multidisciplinary event has been cancelled, according to event organizers, who reported,"A new comitee to protect the Parc du Mont-Royal has convinced the city to stop allowing permits for events that last more than 24 hours..."

This reduces the major events for '08, leaving only Munnsville for large, East Coast races.

 Skatin' the FrankinFish

My superhero friend Kyle Chin and I thought it would be a good idea to make a video to show the versatility of the Loaded Fish.  Not only can it be used as a surfy/carvy board but also as a technical slide board if you throw on the right wheels.

We went to our favorite neighborhood hill, Franklin, to film the video.  Hence the name FrankinFish.  I skated mostly on the 81a 66mm strikers and really focused on a surfy style of riding: getting down low, slashing, really using the kick tail to slide the board around.  The board has grip-tape on the foam tail, which helps a lot for extra grip.
