Several months ago, we received an interesting proposition: would we review two very different versions of a unique little wheel? Marylou Chaput wasn't kidding: these wheels are little, and very different from one another!

 

 
 

Our crews rode the 98a, 60mm Abec 11 NoSkoolZ on a series of different setups, then swapped them for their soft-poured, 78a, 60mm brothers to hit the same hills, paths and streets. When we were done with that, we put'em into the sliding and garage-racing scene, with a little pool & park action to follow. Actually, there's a funny story about that "pool & park action"...

The powers that be at Lush Longboards are constantly adding to an ever-growing line of products. With the burgeoning growth of the UK slide scene, they?ve seen fit to release an update to the competent Lush slide gloves, and now they?ve added a slide-friendly deck and wheel to the equation. The Longboard Consortium checked out the three new members of the Lush slide lineup: the Globe 38? deck, the ?.v2? slide gloves and the Cannonball, 60mm and 65mm 97a wheel. Read on for more details about how they handled in the slide terrain we tested them on.

You’ve read our review of the Roarockit Pintail longboard, right here on the front page. You’ve seen the wide variety of longboards to be made with the Roarockit kits in the Board Building Forum. Now, it’s time to for us to give you the impressions of a first-time board-builder, using the Roarockit Thin Air Press system. For this review, we gave a standard kit to our inimitable Malakai Kingston and set him loose.

As you’ll see, the board came out great but this article is about using the Thin Air Press kit and standard instructions. Check it out!

Randal Fuller's trucks sparked a revolution in longboarding and racing. The DH and RII trucks have become so ubiquitous on performance skateboards that the very name Randal has become the paradigm for inverted-kingpin trucks. The native are restless, however, and here we'll review three well-designed alternatives: Holey Trucks from England, Crail SpeedTrucks from Brazil and Force Industries trucks from Australia. Each of them are well-designed, well-built contenders for the throne, and each has its own particular flavor.
