Loaded skateboards has been under the radar for quite a while, but this is about to change. Slowly this visionary company is growing and the word is definitely spreading, these boards are sick! There is no other company that produces such solid carving surf and snow style skates in the market today. We were lucky enough to spend 20 minutes with these guys and talk about what they do and why they do it.

Taking the south by storm are the Downhill Billies, a grassroots skate group formed by a few locals of Statesvill NC. Comprised by members all over the east coast, and as far away as Ohio, Utah and Nevada. This group has grown its numbers from a few dedicated members to over 50 members in attendance in a little over six months. With a passion for spreading the stoke and awareness. With slalom, downhill, pool and sliding they accept all disciplines and anyone wishing to share in the good times. With six jam sessions in six months and weekly sessions as well, the DownHillBillies are fueling the stoke one hillbillie at a time.

Revolutionary ideas and grass roots action brings Red Army Surplus Co. to the forefront of the DIY scene. With striking bold graphics and an ernest desire to bring skating to a local level, with their ongoing ditch series and skatepark fundraisers they are doing just that. Silverfish was lucky enough to have an open communication with Miles. Intreagued not only the graphics but by the seemingly deep participation in the scene, he was gracious enough to submit a bit of his time for the fish and get more in depth with his thoughts and Red Army Surplus Co.

Like Ross from Lush said, "You don't get much more stylish than a good Coleman". The namesake of Cliff Coleman. No one has done more for the longevity and the recent explosion of sliding than Cliff Coleman, With 25+ years of sliding and teaching others, he spreads the sliding stoke and is the Original Slider.  Recently, I had the chance to sit down with Cliff after a sliding session in San Luis Obispo.  I asked him about sliding, his famous clinics, who he sees leading the sport and more.  Here's how it went:
