“I am stoked to join Kahuna Creations!” says Buttons, “Kahuna Creations is a soulful company that pays tribute to my Hawaiian ancestors.  Hawaiians were the first people to feel the love of board riding, Kahuna Creations remembers those roots and has created a line up that weaves in the Hawaiian spirit.”

Voodoo Longboards Prototype Review PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 27 August 2003
Silverfish Longboarding is proud to present the first ever review of a Voodoo Longboard. The board is a prototype created by Chris W and John W of Voodoo longboards. I had the chance to take this board up to Whistler, British Columbia, Canada to ride for a week. If you ever have the chance to test a longboard, Whistler is THE place to do it. Look around and you will find hills like none other and the scenery... I'm speechless. That alone will make it worth it, but this isn't a review on Whistler-on to the good stuff.

Jam Longboards - Silverback Review PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, 15 March 2003
If you've never ridden a skateboard that's taller than you, you're missing out. Especially if you're about 6'7" (about 2 meters) as I am. Jam Longboards makes two 80" (a little over 2 meters) long boards-the Python and the Silverback which is the board I tested. The board is probably as close as you can come to riding a longboard surfboard on land.

Roarockit Board Kit Review Part I PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 13 February 2003
If you're the do-it-yourself type, but don't have experience making skateboards, Roarockit offers a great place to start.

I spent a couple hours assembling a Roarockit board and filmed the process. I'm generally not a great handyman and don't have any experience making boards from scratch, but I found this kit fun and fairly simple to build. Most of the explanation is in the video. Click read more to download and watch part one.
