Lib Technologies generally makes snowboards I have never had a pleasure to ride one of their snowboards but I have ridden their longboards which the technologies they apply to their snowboards have been infused with. On entrance to the Lib Tech Skateboard website Lighter, Stronger, More Pop is emblazoned across the top of the page. Although these aspects are virtually obvious with the short board counterparts the Lib Tech Longboards often go un noticed hiding in recluse in a few well knowing quivers.
If you're not familiar with Arbor, they make two products, Snowboards and Longboards. You can almost instantly recogize an Arbor board because they all are made of beautiful woods and the design is usually the stained wood and the Arbor logo.
Tierney has released a new revision of their trucks. They were kind enough to send us a couple boards to test. Comparison pictures coming soon!
The new trucks are much lighter and lower than they were, lower being the most important improvement. When you're on a board with only two wheels, ever bit higher makes it feel a little less stable.

By pure chance (or luck), my neighbor across the street has an eXkate Powerboard. He was generous enough to let me take it for a ride tonight. I started off with my doubts... the board looks big, unweildy and not like much of a carver at all. It's also very heavy--it weighs in at 52 pounds. I couldn't imagine it being anything other than a novelty.
