Stefaun's roots are in street skating. Therefore, it's only natural that his pool shape closely resembles the traditional, double-end, twin tip shape that so many street decks incorporate. Michael's Pool King deck is constructed using polymer composites and 5 plys of hard rock maple veneers. Pool Kings claim these are 8 ounces lighter than standard 7 ply wood decks of the same size and shape and retain their "pop" for a longer time as well.

The biggest downhill skateboarding event in Europe is fast approaching. The Go Fast EastbourneSpeed Days are taking place from the 12th -14th September. Sign up has been open for a few months now and there are already some big names from as far away as Canada and Australia. This is IGSA World Cup Racing, and the last European stop in the '08 series that's been invigorated with the addition of North American racers. Sign up is CLOSING ON AUGUST 18th, so get on it! This is going to be the biggest display of downhill racing in the UK to date. As well as four man downhill racing, there will also be freeriding throughout the whole weekend, including a flood lit evening skate. This is a chance for any one with a helmet and a skateboard to come and skate the hill, with no traffic to worry about and an uplift at the bottom! Its not every day you get to do that! The stringers, in conjunction with the foam core, make both boards very light. We’ve added a cross-grained nose section which runs horizontally on the front of the board, adding strength and protection from those nasty curbs. Each board (like all our boards) is hand-crafted in our factory in North Vancouver, Canada and has been meticulously pored over to ensure it is worth every penny. Hey Kiddies, It's July and Summer is in full swing!!! It's time to get you guys back to Muir for another crazy Saturday afternoon of madness. On Saturday at High Noon, Team Gravity and Muir Skate is doing it all over again. We are going to be jamming out to Straight Trippin and skating around like a bunch of Crazy Monkeys. We have tons of prizes to give out complements of our wonderful event sponsors. We are going to have a timed 4 rider relay slalom event for $100!!! Bring your best board and 3 best friends! This a great day to grab that board you been thinking about and testing it out.
