Bad News Dept: Montreal's Top Challenge is Cancelled. The '08 edition of this multidisciplinary event has been cancelled, according to event organizers, who reported,"A new comitee to protect the Parc du Mont-Royal has convinced the city to stop allowing permits for events that last more than 24 hours..."
This reduces the major events for '08, leaving only Munnsville for large, East Coast races.

Snoboard Update
My old friend and partner, Ernie Delost and I have joined forces again to hand-build some of our retro Swallow Tail and All-Terrain Snoboard Designs in our own factory using all the newest high quality materials and knowledge we have gained in the past 28 years of building snoboards! It’s exciting as all hell!
The snoboard industry has gotten so damn corporate that we just backed off for a while; but the truth of the matter is... we enjoy building custom hand-made boards that perform really well and are one of a kind beauties!
We will be using a core that is completely unique with combinations of exotic hardwoods, urethanes and other super materials! (if I told you what it was, I’d have to eliminate you! :-)
We will only build a couple hundred this year for our longtime supporters and plan to seed shops around the planet for next year’s break out!
