(San Diego, CA – September ASR) – Back in the day, the Hawaiian Beach Boys introduced stand-up paddling (SUP) on their wooden boards by stroking their way across the blue seas. Kahuna Creations has taken that idea to the streets. Now, longboarders can paddle their way down the road. A longboard paddle offers a smooth, fast ride and gets a rider where they want to go in style.
What happens when you throw a heavy object in the middle of a loose hammock? The end points collapse and all of the threads and strings meet in the middle because the weight and momentum of the heavy object forces them to their meeting point.
In basic terms, the program as a whole works like this… One guy likes skating and so do his friends, but wait, so do his friends and those friends of friends… Some of the guys have already been acquainted and have small or medium groups of skating friends all with different levels of experience; others are individuals that are new to the entire skating scene… Why not bring that entire circle closer and closer together until it is so close that it forms a dot on a map, a central and single unit, a TEAM… This is the act of uniting and bringing individuals together, and in this case the central anchor is skating. What could be better?

The biggest downhill skateboarding event in Europe is fast approaching. The Go Fast EastbourneSpeed Days are taking place from the 12th -14th September. Sign up has been open for a few months now and there are already some big names from as far away as Canada and Australia. This is IGSA World Cup Racing, and the last European stop in the '08 series that's been invigorated with the addition of North American racers. Sign up is CLOSING ON AUGUST 18th, so get on it! This is going to be the biggest display of downhill racing in the UK to date. As well as four man downhill racing, there will also be freeriding throughout the whole weekend, including a flood lit evening skate. This is a chance for any one with a helmet and a skateboard to come and skate the hill, with no traffic to worry about and an uplift at the bottom! Its not every day you get to do that! The stringers, in conjunction with the foam core, make both boards very light. We’ve added a cross-grained nose section which runs horizontally on the front of the board, adding strength and protection from those nasty curbs. Each board (like all our boards) is hand-crafted in our factory in North Vancouver, Canada and has been meticulously pored over to ensure it is worth every penny.
