The sage, Longboard Buddha once said, "A tree spends 100% of its lifetime in a static environment and only after its reincarnation as a deck is it allowed to move at fast speeds...
when allowed, the wood will give thankless service if
allowed to flow."

SOOOOO STOKED!!!!!!
but
for those that didn't know the guy (BRYAN) who wrote the article on the pennsyltucky race died last week of a brain aniurism. He was only 35. I knew him for 20+ years and he was a great guy. I am very fortunate to have had such a great friend, shared the stoke with him, introduced him to many new/great friends, and shared many a laughs concerning this race. He was proud to have been part of the event and to have covered it.....i only wish he had lived long enough to see it in print.
I would like to thank silverfish, cw, those who attended the event, the sponsors, Dean, and the longboard community for giving me such a wonderful experience and an oppertuniy/reason to fly Bryan to pa to cover the race and share some time with him.
ps
his mom thanked me at the funeral for bringing him to pa for the race.......it was the last time she saw him.
Bryan may be gone in physical form, but the stoke lives on!!!!!!
