Default I made a mistake...the next issue doesn't have a 20 page story....

it has a 28 page story.

I am deadly serious.

This is the BIGGEST story ever published on skateboarding in a magazine.

In fact, you could say, at 18,000 or so words, it's one of the biggest stories published this year in a magazine.

Most mags cut things to around 9,000 words maximum. Mags like the Atlantic Monthly craft longer stories....but I am pretty sure they don' hit 28 pages. This one does.

So, what would merit a 28 page story?

I am not telling.

You are just going to have to wait....all I will say is that it this story has had a profound affect on me and I believe it might cause the same reaction to many of our readers.

You have been warned. Get ready to cool down the beer, warm up the brandy or chill the milk, it's going to be a long read.

Congrats....

Quality not quantity. Surfer's Journal anyone?

How about a good ten pages of Dwayne Pereto now...

Or the Push for the Cure crew.

When is it coming out and when will you have the coverage on the summer slalom racing season?

I also Vote for a cover with Jason Mitchell on it!

Yeah, echo that!! I'd love to see some serious & detailed slalom raing coverage. It's been an excellent & expansive racing season, and it'd be great to see some comprehensive coverage of it, detailing some of the evnets, and discussing overall standings, plenty of sweet pics, etc. And putting Mitch on a cover would be fantasitc -- he's certainly earned that kind of attention. Thanks for listening!
