Yeah, that's right! We were deleted.... Tom or whoever the hell runs MySpace is scared of a titty. Are we going to make a new profile?? F#%K NO!! Would any of you really want to see a G-rated Hubba page? Didn't think so.... Anyway, it was fun while it lasted. Thanks to all the homies and lovely ladies...
If you're interested in seeing the images/ads they are at the site...I am not going to post them here...
Just for the record, this has been done before - freshjive had porno models in their ads years ago.
50% of the market is UNDER 11, and about 85% are under 18...so, Hubba, rather than relying on their technology to promote their goods, rely on T&A.
T&A is nothing new, as I mentioned. There are some who will say using porn to sell your product means that you're a clever marketer. I say it's the opposite. I say you have no new ideas and have to rely on something taboo to sell your stuff.
Re: Hubba Wheels = Porno for children? Or A Great Marketing Idea?
Not much of a difference between their ads and the carveboard ads with that chick in a bra and shorts short enough that you almost get full view of the baby tunnel.
And I'm not complaining about either, in fact, I think we need more

What a bummer. I click on "soft" goods and nothing happens. I just hope it's not t-shirts, socks or such nonsense. I'm thinking something with "life-like" skin.
Big deal. A haff-nekid model is used in the marketing of some silly-assed, too-hard wheels. I see some actor giving an ice cube a BJ for a Disorno(?) ad on the tube. I see Ms. Agulera shakin' her thing on the MTV and countless other female-types gyrating for the gangstas.
I see REAL LIFE killing, misery and death on the evening news. I'll settle for T&A over that any day.
I should stick w/ the topic. I don't think the Hubba ploy is too imaginative but, those particular items that the model is holding are in the Top 10 List of Interesting Things to the target audience (the under 18 crowd?). Hell, they're on my top 10 but I wouldn't put those wheels on a shopping cart and it's been some years since 18 crossed my path.

No offense to the company... but you can tell their wheels SUCK becuase like when you go to their site you don't see wheels.... you see GIRLS!!! Pretty idiotic in my opinion..... just go get some of your own porno..... losers.
Re: Hubba Wheels = Porno for children? Or A Great Marketing Idea?
Cute women, to be sure. What a sad commentary on how and where that aspect of the skateboarding market has gone to see cookie cutter wheels in a market where customers don't even ask about performance, dimension or quality...evidenced by the fact that the corporate honchos just relabel, regraphic and innovate new ads, instead of new wheels. Hubba is just a logical extension...they have no new design, probably no understanding of whatever they've got labeled for themselves, but do have a great image concept to sell. Sex does sell, afterall...
Didn't I post some giblet about some rap star that's issued his own wheels? Where's that dialogue he related? Swap in some comments about hooker and tits, and it's probably exactly what occured at Hubba.

So does this mean hot women will like me if I ride their wheels?
