Re: in honor of halloween, what is it within skating that scares the HELL out of you?
Slippery terrain! I carve very hard across transitions because I am so accustomed to round wall and using the transtion up and around, as opposed to straight up and down. slippery ramps and crete are devastating to the way I skate. It screws with me badly and really affects my go-for-it-ness. I slam (not fall) hard on slick terrain, and those instantaneous slams at our age are not good.

I'm pretty afraid of speed wobbles, because I'm fairly new to speed. Also, because I've got a long flexy deck with Original trucks, not really well set up for bombing. But its mostly the rider's fault. As they say in auto maintainence, the biggest problem with most cars is the loose nut behind the steering wheel.
Other than that, I'm not really afraid of anything skating related.. Its fun and relaxing, I do it to get away from the things that scare me.
Plus, the edge of a skateboard deck would be ideal for bashing in the head of a zombie, in case of zombie invasion. Remember to go for the brain!
