whats even more interesting, in light of this post, is the study I did about 1.5 years ago, looking at mainstream skate mags. I determined, by page count and content, that about 1/4 of the magazines' pages were devoted to skating/skating text/hardgoods advertisement, leaving about 75% of the mag as softgood filler or garbage. (I checked out 3 separate mags for two different months). With this being a mainstream study, it is very revealing that the mainstream market is carrying the same sort of stats, based on vender count that showed up at the event.

While CW may not be 100%, page count, devoted to hardgoods, it is drastically to the other end of the spectrum.

If this poll had been put out to the mainstream, you would see a distribution that included the softgoods at a very high percentage.
