I have figured it all out...all you need to know about skateboarding, can be found studying the burger chains...
What company, in your opinion is the IN N OUT Burger of skateboarding? (if you don't know IN N OUT Burger, you are really missing something!)
What is McDonalds releasing on Monday?
looks like big is the new BIG thing!
bigger skateboards, now bigger burgers...
McDonald's is beefing up its burger line.
On Monday, 600 California restaurants, including all 125 in Orange County, will introduce three six-ounce Angus beef burgers for $3.99 – a move that follows rivals such as Carl's Jr. and Burger King that have seen financial success with their premium patties.
"The marketplace wants big burgers," said Richard Adams, a former McDonald's executive who now acts as a consultant for franchisees across the country.
There's a current trend in the food industry, including fast food, to upscale their boards with Randa...er, to upscale their menus with "premium beefs". It's at high-line joints, too, but you'll soon see (or already have in some markets) a proliferation of "sirloin" and "Angus beef" products. It's in the burgers, it's in the grocery stores, it's in the sandwich chains. Upscale is in and the big corporate wonks have figured out they need a "Brand name beef" to compete with the smaller chains. Maybe they got the idea from longboarding: our own "McDonalds" now features Randals and much better wheels. You can't even order a burger with Pivot trucks these days (please, please just forget! heh heh!).
Hey, you may like McD's. That's fine! I'm glad they've got better burgers, and I don't mind if the line's a little shorter at In-n-Out, either.

And thats why I don't eat fast food, its distgusting! I would rather now whats in my food than take a chance of finding a dead rat or something in my food.

Re: Burgers and skateboarding...
I tried a BK Angus burger when they first came out, and wasn't impressed. Still didn't taste as good as the plain ol' beef in In-N-Out's burgers. What's the point of using higher grade meat, if you still don't store and cook it right? And based on how bad McDonald's has gotten over the last several years, I'm not expecting much from this one, either (I'll still try it, though).

Its insane, how much bigger everything is getting. When I was a kid, all the fast food places had 3 sizes of soda: small (12oz), medium (16oz), and large (20oz). Now, most places' small is the 20oz, and the small fries is what used to be the medium, or even large. I can remember when McDonald's brought out the Quarter Pounder- that was a big burger for its time...

Wonder if there is any co-relation with the drastic increase in adult onset diabetes lately?(in Onatrio at least.)
Nah probably not.
Cigarettes don't cause cancer.
Guns don't kill people either.
You just have to spin it the right way.

Re: Burgers and skateboarding...
Tried one of the McDonald's Angus burgers today. I'd rather spend a few extra bucks and get a similar sized burger from Chili's, or spend a little less and get a smaller (but much tastier) burger at In-N-Out, The Hat, or Top's...
