could it be true that the parallax of information inundation can easily render a myopic view of any situation? for example, during our short conversation of the conrad black case, while having lunch with paula todd yesterday, i sensed that her broad understanding of the business of law could essentially obscure her instincts for the laws of business (if she were not careful).
best to think of it as such that you can bask in its glory but it would blind you to look directly into the sun.

I think its going to advance, by actually going backwards. Sometimes going backwards is going forwards. Sort of like de-evolution.

Serously Michael, I think it dawned already. There are more races than I can go to, there are skaters in CT that I don't know posting on SF, not to mention all the ones that haven't found silverfish. Once upon a time I knew every slaom/longboarder in 5 states and went to every race.
We have posts like, "Help me pick a longboard that doesn't look like everybody else's longboard on campus". Remeber when it was "Can somebody help me find some Cherrybombs or Kryptos?"
It's dawned and getting brighter. Your buyers guide is testament to that. And there's stuff that's not even in there. !
I honestly think our next leap will come with more contests imbeded in existing events like DIxie Cup and Antrim. Those will help draw sponsors and TV. That brings $ and a whole new level of exposure.
Sooooo, in that vein, who know someone at a major watch company? Timing! We need an international timing sponsor.
