My comments represent a selfishly one sided 1970's skateboarder mindset, and do not reflect the current fashion-skate-lifestyle industry's views.
I've got to first notice that they exist, then notice that they're making something thats either a "better mousetrap", a novel idea, or a better value than what I've already got. Then it's got to be REALLY easy to hook up with them to do a transaction. Miss any one of these and they might as well not be in business.
