No offense to Michael, I'm not sure this matters much to you but maybe you know too.
Just curious about which skate shoes are actually made in the u.s.a.. Please don't turn this into a religious debate about wether they should be or not. I just want to know who's doing it and the very cursory search I've done hasn't revealed much except that most are made overseas.
I saw a pair of DC shoes that had DCSHOESUSA stamped on the side, but they were actually made in Vietnam.

DC's were originally made in Korea...they were good shoes and very well made (I bought 4 pairs of Manteca's in Pusan my first trip to Korea). At some point it became cheaper and higher quality to have them made in Vietnam. Lots of shoes are made their now I know Salomon makes most of their hiking shoes there. Van's used to be made in the USA and so were Chuck Taylors but I'm pretty sure both have moved to China

Re: Which skate shoes are made in america?
As far as I know, no actual skate shoes are US made. There are some court and basketball shoes that could be suitable for skating that are made here, but that's about it...

Simple makes AMAZING shoes.
I've got the OS Cork (sadly not in production anymore) and i looooove them. like butter on the feet.
But they're not made in the U.S.
The company is based here, but they're made in china.
