I found it also:

CBBC Newsround | Guides | Sport | Skateboarding | What is skateboarding?

It looks like it's from a web page for 2nd and 3rd graders who get on the World Wide Web looking for answers.

Yes, it's written FOR grade schoolers.

I'm sure some of you would be astonished to learn you got a "C-" when tested on what was in your 2nd grade text books.

Oh, this website is dated from 2005. Bridlington reprinted it this week.

You've dearly confused me by suddenly differentiating between "longboarding" and skateboarding.

MJKam, you ride a skateboard. It's a little longer than a street board, the trucks are a little wider, the wheels are a little softer, but that doesn't make it any less of a skateboard.

Hot find on that article there, Mr. Brooke.

That is the funniest thing ive read in quite some time, "an ollie is the key skateboarding trick and involves you flying forward through the air without grabbing the board"
I don't expect all people to no everything about skateboarding but when your tryinh to write an "informative" article, you really do need to get it right, whoever wrote this needs some help.

Oh and the dude that says he doesnt skateboard, you do, longboarding is skateboarding, unless its surf longboarding, thats surfing.

Parallel Man, thanks for finding that link. I think it casts a whole new light on why the article's so childishly written.

No wonder, It's FOR YOUNG KIDS!! Which makes the claim that it's "lame" completely off target and out of context. I'm not saying people should talk down to kids, but the average six or seven year old has a different way of looking at the world and absorbing information than we do, savvy as they are about technology. They still tend to respond to primary colors, shapes, and brief descriptions better than immense details. Maybe it's why Sesame Street is the longest running and successful kids show.

Anyone of issues with Mr.Snuffleuffagus?
