i was in munich last summer and i whenever i was in a park i thought about that but never got to see it. oh well. p.s. paulaner beer is amazing not to heavy but not light either.
love paulaner, and i saw that in the englisher garten, theres a very big sign that says "Kein surfing!" because apparently people do that a lot. I was really hoping that i was going to see someone surfing it.
its at the edge of it facing one of the main roads. theres some really big rocks right under it too, so by doing it its kinda scary too, idk if id do it.
I was there during some festival and there were probably more than 20 people surfing there. No one seemed to care, but maybe because it was a special occation or something. It was pretty cool though. (And a few were a lot better than the guys in that video)
Oh, and I think all the beer in Munich is awesome (I was a fan of all the dark beers). Deffinately stop by the Hofbrauhaus though to watch all the tourists get drunk and act like idiots. And the beer is good.
yea hofbrauhaus is all tourists and stuff, a good place in munich that i found with great beer was the Augustiner brauhaus as well, and not as crowded and clusterfvcked as the hofbrauhaus.

Re: Oh my GAWD! I am going to Munich!
there was a really cool skate shop there. i don't remember which street it was on but i am pretty sure it is called boneless skateshop. people are super nice and they seem to carry almost everything.

Yeah, I went in plenty of places that were not touristy at all, but I can't remember the names of them. Hofbrauhaus is just one of those overly touristy places that you just can't help not going to.
