My comments represent a selfishly one sided 1970's skateboarder mindset, and do not reflect the current fashion-skate-lifestyle industry's views.
Wow this is sad I still remember skating with him at Warren Wolfs ramp in Vista after Delmar was bulldozed. I did not skate Vert very well just grinds that about it. I would feel out of place with all the higher calibers pros on deck. Ray would talk to you and make you feel like one of them. Skateboarding lost a great skater and person today.
Wow I own the Powell reissue of his board and I must say that I love it and I will cherish slot more now that I know he died. When I was looking at boards I did research and he was an amazing skater and he will surely be missed.
