Damnnnn, my house is about 10 blocks from that Howard Johnson hotel; you guys should definitely plan to come over to Woodside one night for a backyard cookout/BBQ when you're here; we'll take you over to the Brooklyn Banks, the Earthwing/Watchtower slide hill, and a few other spots around town. NYC is mostly a street skate city since it's pretty much flat everywhere in town, but longboarding at midnight down 42nd Street through Times Square is by far one of the most amazing experiences you'll have here. If you're into skating bowls, there are a few pretty good parks in the city (Owls Head in Brooklyn and 34th St Helipad Bowl), and the Stamford Skate Park in Connecticut is the best concrete park in the Northeast right now, but you might not have enough time. A lot of us will be coming back from the Munnsville downhill race that Monday morning but we should be back in the city by 3pm or so.

Feel free to give me a call when you're in town - 917.. 587.. 6675, and we'll get a crew of Earthwing peoples out to skate.

Cheers,
Ned
