Thanks, EC - it's getting better. It's been my main focus when I ride this board...

I think I've made a good deck choice, and a great wheel choice. Totally uncertain on the trucks and wedging since I've seen/heard suggestions in so many different directions!
It seems there isn't a "best" type of setup, which almost blows my mind - because pumping is fundamentally pumping, and for it to work, the energy transfer has to happen roughly the same way, person to person. I see a LOT of people riding no wedging, symmetrical truck setups front/back, and NON-inverted kingpins! Strange, strange, strange, because I can't pump my shortboard worth a damn, and I ride moderately loose trucks (seems like it would be that "sweet spot"), and have absolutely awesome bearings in that thing.
But that's people's LDP setup even!

So, I think I need to read around and observe a bit here and there - I'm unsure what question I really should formulate... hard to comment on the scenery when the view is still foggy! (sadly)
