I would deffinately recommend a lower board though because they feel stable and make pushing a lot easier. I would just recommend something a little longer. also, if you are afraid of the feeling of a spud because it is really low, you might want to try a drop through, which is closer to the height of a topmount, and they tend to have more foot room for their length. ex - rayne hustler and hellcat, LY dropspeed, dervish, insect mosquito, subsonic barrage, kebbek hairpin, etc.
