50 miles a day would be doable only once you have some serious training. I do 15 to 20 a day and when I did 55 miles in one session I got so burned out I could barely move. You may be able to 8 to 10 pretty quick but if you go farther you find out that your body breaks down at a certain point. Start small and build up. Going down to maryhill is a way better idea than going from canada to mexico. You have to be James Peters to 100 miles in a day.
