Default 83mm Flywheels, which duro?

Hey 'Fishers,

So I just got a custom deck from Longboard Larry that is a drop deck drop thru for cruising and carving as I wanted something easy to push and low to the ground. Here's a link to my post about it with pictures:

The low, mellow ride... REVEALED!

Larry said I would need a wheel that was 75mm or larger and I got some 76mm Superballs because I wanted something grippy. I want to be able to do safety/coleman slides on it and predictably drift corners when I am in the mood. I did some searching and it looks like 83mm Flywheels are what I am looking for. My only question is which duro would be best? I am looking for the duro that will slide smoothly, but not be any faster than need be to do this. I am just not a guy who digs lots of speed. I want grip, yet I want a wheel that slides well when I want it to if such a combo exists. I know they come in 75a, 78a and 81a. I would love the 75a if they would slide without chunking. I don't want to go smaller than 83mm because those 76mm Superballs are cutting it close as it is in terms of bottoming out. If there are other larger wheels out there worth considering, I would be interested. I am under the impression that Flywheels are the only wheels that come this large.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help on this,

CC
