It finally dawned on me (dense, huh!)
These guys are simply responding to the US mainstream media that classifies any use of a board outside of what they "authorize" as longboarding. Its really a shame that these NZ'ers only see skateboarding from the moronic narrow focus of the US mainstream skateboard media and have to resort to moronic counter-arguments.

I originally thought these guys were clowns, but they are actually pawns being played by the mainstream skateboard market. Me thinks they need to quit reading the mainstream mags and vids and pick up more CW's.
