Re: "Five Reasons Why Skateboards Stink and Longboards Rock"
this topic brings up a point that ive been thinking about lately....
is "street skating" a misnomer or what?
where what we refer to "street" is usually done at schools (at least for me) where there are benches, tables, stairs, rails, etc...or commercial areas, where the "street" obstacles are found is usually NOT found in the street (in the literal meaning of the word).
however, longboarding usually takes place on the street....literally. maybe on the sidewalk.
street skating may quite possibly require more skill....but bombing hills is just so fun!
plus a longboard lasts way longer than a shortie that gets popped, slid, dropped, etc, so thats cool, u dont need to get a new board every so often.
why the hate? i can kickflip
