Abec 11 Updates

Jomar Guzman wins the Guajataka Downhill with one of the closest, craziest finishes ever. Jomar was doing his best to hold an aggressive inside line through the final right hand turn of the race when Biter took used the tiniest bit of daylight to challenge him on the inside. With Biter getting dangerously close to sliding into Jomar and with Jomar being already close to the bales in the outside of the turn, the two leaned up against each other to help prevent a crash. The two of them were literally connected at the hips all the way to the finish line with Jomar winning by the slimmest of margins.

Former champion Scoot Smith was doing great until someone crashed in front of him while he was picking off the last few skaters in the semifinals.

I managed to win the Legends Class which was pretty tough on these old bones. It was a long course on a very warm and humid day. It wasn't good weather for hanging out in your leathers all day.

Thanks to Hector, Shatana, the Pirate Surf Club, and all of the other great people of Puerto Rico for doing a great job and being such great hosts. I will definitely be back next year!

Ha ha. Funny reference, but WAY too old for most. Actually, I think the plaid-shirt dude was just doing some gonzo journalism, trying to follow-film the racers. You can see him at 2-3 seconds into the video, way on the outside. At that point, he seems well behind, but crashes sure can make things change quickly.

So this might be a dumb thing to say but i sorta just wanna make sure my thoughts are correct, so.. is it right to say that every company that makes wheels has a slightly different thane for their wheels? as in, Abec11 wouldnt want the formula for a killer thane such as reflex and Calssic to get out??
