well, your... you, Speedfiend.... i couldnt assume otherwise.

point being, buying a limited run wheel, meant to grip, and trying to turn it into a drifty wheel seems to defeat the purpose of that wheel. why not just get a readily available wheel meant to drift. but really, it could be argued "its his, let him do what he wants" certain things just seem stupid... like a spoiler on a front wheel drive car...

i eat pink zigs for breafast to make sure my bowels get maximum grip on my food, and to make sure that my crap really take the sewer hairpins tight.

Sometimes i eat 97mm flywheels if im starving...depends really. Lime reflex-forumla wheels fill me up and give just about everything i want...

Off topic, but is that because FWD cars are rarely used for racing making a spoiler pointless? Or because the downforce on the rear could potentially take away traction from the driving wheels?

Why would you need downforce on the non-drive wheels? Chances are it's going to understeer far before it oversteers so the wing doesn't do anything.

and um... mr chaput, what about a 74a 66mm zig.... i would like a set for my MM. grippy, soft riding goodness. both sub 80a 66mm zigs are in classic thane. i can choose pink, or red. i want reflex thane.

contrary to the trends here, i like long wheelbase grip boards, not short drifty boards.

and about the spolier. a spolier is there to increase downforce on the back wheels. this worked really well in a rear wheel drive car. the faster you go, the more downforce, the more torque and basically thrust. in a front wheel drive, the back wheels are being dragged... with more downforce, creating... well drag. it puts traction in the wrong part.

and one thing i want to try is to double wide some flashbacks. i'd need to cut off 24mm either side of a randal 180... more or less, to make this work. it would be the same track, but with 96mm wheel width. id just have to run a speed ring between them. i am sure it would be slow though...all that wheel contacting.

I was asking for a clarification. But to your reply, things change when you get into details like curb weight, center of gravity, whp, tires, front splitter and other aero parts, suspension, sway bars, the track itself, the dead hooker in the trunk, etc, etc.
