My favorite wheels. I was lucky enough to get a set of pinks and limes, before the 75mm bigzig came out. The limes are getting pretty coned now though .

I picked up a brand new set of the pinks from a fish member a few weeks ago. They are amazing wheels and have shown no signs of wear or chunking yet! I am only using them for LDP wheels so they arn't getting thrashed at all, but amazing rebound from these bastards, not insanely grippy though. I am able to push them out a little even on super smooth pavement at slow speeds, kinda makes me wanna try them as slide wheels cause the slide feels really smooth and controlled, quiet too.

I have a couple sets I'd be willing to trade but the thing is the only thing I would ever trade for is even more rare...83mm reflex flys...when I did the BFBC auction and got my 90mm reflex flys I always regretted not getting the 83's.

The 83s are really fun. It's nice having a drifty wheel that size that doesn't just straight up disintegrate during every slide.
I really don't care about having a "rare" wheel and would love it Chris made these for the public.

agreed. They should be released...my dream wheel would be a lemon 83mm fly....but my other dream wheel would be a reflex 83mm bigzig so those centrex will be in my hands as soon as possible.

Sorry to be a downer...but the 86a reflex thane freerides are HORRIBLE. The slide is disgusting, they chatter like no ones business. And I can only imagine how the 89a ones would feel. I really like the feel of the 80a freerides the slides are super smooth. I'd suggest going along the lines of a softer duro like 78a or 75a. For some reason when you break out soft rounded lip wheels the drift is just amazing smooth and quiet.

I haven't tried the lower duro FRs but my 86as ,which are now 66m, slid beatifully from day one for me & I'm only talking about stand up here, I think a lot comes into play such as road surface & rider weight, there were roads I just couldn't break them free on due to the tarmac & others that were beautiful during the transition from grip to slide.

I can only assume if I were running 80a/83a I'd be closer to coring them if I could get them to break free as easily.
