Abec11 released bushings well over six months ago and every major distributor carries them. They range from green (74a) to black (95a).

Not trying to trick, scheme or confuse anyone. We are just changing the name of the strikers and adding the 72 mm size. The prices will stay the same.

Re: Abec 11 Updates
has any one else had trouble with the sore shredding in their strikers? i got some 77mm 81a strikers (or shud i say free rides" a few months ago and when i tried to put my bearings in ht e hub just wasnt wide enough to get the bearing in there with out some of the plastic getting shaved off the edges. the core just seems like its made out of a really soft plastic. i only just thought of asking abt this now. hmm they are like 65mm now, wud abec11 gimme a refund or something still?
p.s i wasnt putting the bearings in defferently to any other wheels ive had (putting bearing on axle then pressing on the wheel) and it wasnt just 1 of my wheels it was all 4. i have since cut off the plastic that got shaved down and now my bearings go in easily and dont rip up the sides.
cheers
keep looking at my sig and maybe something interesting will happen.

I've had trouble getting bearings in with both retro freerides and strikers at first. The hubs are mad tight to begin with, but they loosen up.

Re: Abec 11 Updates
Hmm for names sake,
Switch retro and abec 11 around so the thane names atleast sound like what they are supposed to be.
Retro classic thane, Abec11 reflex thane.
Lol just sounds better to me.

one time i was out skate with some friends and i wanted to try someone else's flashbacks. he didn't have bearings for'em. i popped mine out of my wheels, and pushed the bearings into the flashbacks. later on, i looked at my glove, and my thumb was red. i realized i was bleeding, lol. cut my thumb with my fingernail pushing the bearings in. its was very laughable, and the only "injury" that day.
be a man and bleed to get your bearings in.
^^^ and above... no, just no....abec 11 came first, and IS the classic thane. also, ever bounce a Retro Wheel... well reflex just makes sense. they rebound. its hell when i drop a reflex bushing on my hardwood floor. it becomes hard to find.

The Abec 11 / Retro / Pink parts in this year buyers guide were re-used from previous years. There is about to be a lot of changes occurring over at SK8Trip, and they will be announced publicly very shortly....rad things to come!

Here's your fix, which I learned from trying to cram bearings into Powell SPF wheels: Put a drop of bearing lube on your fingertip and smear it around on the wheel core, then proceed as you usually do. The bearings will slide in MUCH easier. They may resist for a tiny bit but then they'll slide in with a POP! Boom. You're done.

Centrax's are not meant to slide....they are a formula 1 grip at all times type of wheel. They will come with a huge disclaimer DO NOT SLIDE.....but there will still probably be a select few thinking they are the best wheel for sliding. Let me just say this again...Centrax = Grip.......NOT made to slide.
