Wet/Dry centrax's are going on my rainboard as soon as they come out. I am so pumped for a center set wide-ass wheel that is for wet weather.

There ya go. My theory is they act as suction cups on the ground keeping grip and the wide will prevent slipping.

Yes, I know skinny wheels work better for wet weather, but the holes plus wide will probably work well.

All theories though.

thats kool it works on a slick road when wet out, but thats not why im getting them whatsoever. It should be a super smooth ride with stability and grippiness for my DH quiver

its coming out of the Chaput Labs so this is going to take a while. i am sure that they have to make and be prepared to ship thousands sets, so this may take some time.

If you read through the thread it says the end of this month-ish. But eventually is a better guess.

no. no... i ve been here since day one of this thread. it just i also recall being stoked about other products from them... that i have seen pics of... and ppl have ridden... that still arent in production. i cant wait though. anything to tame the tx winter roads.
