What you do with your bushings is your business ...
well they do look like Candy. i put mine in my case full of Bolts, Nuts, Washers and other small spare parts. (other that the ones that are on my trucks)
all this new stuff is going on with the Retro brand. that makes me wonder what is going on in the background for the Classic thane. i have a feeling something even more exciting that big wheels is lurking in the shadows. anyways, glad you posted again. the video look good, and is a good teaser.
Waking up to 100 emails with subjects like “climb the highest mountain... and punch god in the sack”, "staring down at the regular jackoffs, from space" & “when it's hard it don't bend and when it's soft it don't reach” is really strange for a partial amnesiac. Just say'n....

A bushing a day keeps the skater at play.
I haven't posted this pic yet so here it is
Flywheels after 1000+ miles of skating in a single "session" (not much sliding). They experienced the most HORRIBLE pavement imaginable, im talking running over big nasty rocks for miles on end (its all in my videos)
Little wear, only around 3mm down max
ZERO chuncking
This thane is insane.

it sure is....thats why i love the flywheels soo much
seriously....ive never taken mine through that ruff of terrain, but now i know if i do in the future itll be able to handle it. Id probably be more concerned with my board than those wheels lol.

XxTQxX Do you wear a Helmet, cuz it would be a shame if Darwin took you out.
Alpha, i am curious what Bearings you used? those Flys lasted you. can you clean them off so we can see the really "damage"
I used one set of Bones swiss bearings for 1000 miles. At the very end I had to replace a single bearing because it was creating a bit much friction (it did not sieze up)
I forgot my speed cream, so the bearings were never lubed. They went through multiple rain storms just fine. Quite frankly, I was floored by how long the bearings lasted. I knew I wouldnt have a problem with the flywheels.
I just wish the flywheels were a tad more plush. 90mm is a bit big, 83mm is almost right...I wonder how well the 77mm centrax would work for long distance They are really wide making them plush...but would that impact their rolling ability/energy needed to keep em going?
I will clean them off sometime next week and post some more pics.
