i hope you aren't talking about wet dry centrax. is this like the loaded video contest. how am i suppose to prove that i need to stick corners in the wet, sed vids of my not gripping corners in the wet?
and Blix, i measured my 90a bennett bushing, and my 86a reflex Barrel bushings with calipers, and found there there is the slightest difference. also looked at the angle that the seat sit at without and with a shim washers. i guess under load, because of the two differences in duro, the lighter reflex will compress more of the bat, so a washer is needed, but i really do have some freakily larger than the rest orange bushings, or so it seems.
also, to the guy above, want to buy my Lemon Freerides. they aren't even fully broken in. i have been struggling to make them work. i think they are just to soft a duro for me, so i cant break them in cu i just cant make them loose. hope the classics are better. would pick up a set, but i think i am going to pull the trigger on a vacuum bag instead.

no problem, they are on my dancer now cuz on that, wheels dont matter as much.i took a shot in the dark, and didnt get the right thing for myself. if i really want to sell them, i'll open up an add in the classifieds. frankly they are a good wheel, just not for me.
i wonder if reflex will make hourglassed and stepped bushings any time soon. i can always put my bushings in the drill press and sand them down... but i can make them any bigger.

Re: Abec 11 Updates
While we're still in topic of reflex bushings...
how come karrot reflex vs retro reflex (shut up, i know both are the same lol.) are different?
karrots dont deform as much as the other one.
this happens to all of my bushings..but none of my karrots.
anybody know why?

I believe Chris Chaput has mentioned something about how the urethane act differently when it is cut from a wheel rather than poured in a mold

Re: Abec 11 Updates
The holesaw semi melting the thane as it cuts probably. I've cut a fair share of bushings and have had melting issues more than once. The high heat might make an tougher outer layer.

and why is that?
i'm not a chemist, but i really want to know the answer...i much prefer karrot compared to the reflex.
Also, i noticed that the karrots stand to abuse better, especially when used for LDP kinda thing.
hm.
weird.

Re: Abec 11 Updates
maybe it has to do with the fact that is is taken from one larger piece and cut to size. i dont know if this has any bearing, but because its not molded, and is original consistency had more volume attached to it, the original was stronger, but because the new reflexes are molded that way already, they are like the outer. kind of like a cast versus cnc thing if you will. it allowed for a better product to be crafter out of a brick of thane, rather than just pouring the thane into a mold. and set from that size.

Re: Abec 11 Updates
Lathing and cutting urethane can change its properties. And a good way to explain it is even if you were to cut a piece of thane the proper way and keep its normal attributes, its like riding brand new wheels compared to broken in wheels. They are just different.

Re: Abec 11 Updates
Benneb2 - +1 for Amber Freerides.
I just got back from an hour session with them, and they are the best soft slide wheel I have used. Durians slide out easier and drift a little farther, but Ambers slide a lot smoother, quieter and still slide very far.
The Ambers took about 6 Colemans to break off the pre-release mold, and after that they were golden.
They even gave me the confidence to try toeside pendies, which I almost mastered today alone.
Plus, they leave the sickest yellow thane lines ever all over the road.
I cannot share any personal experience with Powerballs, though.

Call up sk8trip if you want an answer. The girl at the front desk is a busy though, so she'll probably have you leave your email and/or phone number so she can look the order number up.
