I skate alone ,have no met any other longboarders,plenty of street skaters,in Abu Dhabi theres the corniche ,6 km long street skating heaven,with curbs, rails,stairs,ledges,marble granite concrete & tile.



The cities idea of a skate park is being completed



I have had no problem skating on public roads,police are usually too lazy to bother,Rgarding american security,if you dont crank the born in the USA #### too loud you should survive kidnappings, beheading etc.
Closing the roads for slalom??Its better to beg forgivness than ask permission,unless you have the support of one of the sheiks.

That spot is tight. No one else around and the concrete looks beautiful. If I am in the neighborhood visiting my Marine friends we may stop by.

theres a small beach by the corniche you could probably camp on if you're low key,no official campsites but theres always the desert...these people are or were bedouins after all.
By the way, If you cant afford a hotel you're not worth kidnapping!
