Yesterday a bunch of us headed out to the Table Mountain rd for a session. As we got there we notice James from Somerset West was been escorted by a ranger. When James got to us he said that the ranger was going to give him a R500 fine if he continued to skate. So a whole lot of us went up. Stan the ranger jumped out of the bush and immediately went about telling us he was giving us all R500 fines...which made us all laugh. We stood there for another 10mins or so rambling on to Stan the man about been allowed to skate there and Stan the man rambled on to us how he is going to give us all R500 fines...which kept on making us laugh. We told Stan that there were no signs saying we were not allowed to skate...Stan the man said he was the sign...which again made us laugh...lots! Stan was trained well in his job...he remained calm but stern, until I walked past him and he got very angry and threating with his pen( they say the pen is mightier than the sword) to which I said to don't get so angry...he replied saying he was not getting angry but serious.
Eventually we got bored of Stan the man and headed to Dal rd in Camps Bay. Dal rd is very cool, about 6 hairpins. Then we headed to Devils Peak for a session on a hairpin section...got some pics. Then up to where Tibor's new pad is, with another very cool hairpin left. This is where the session ended eventually we were told by the cops to stop but that was cool considering the sun was setting and we had a good Sunday session!
Shot to everyone coming out!
