You have to love American Express rewards. If he is going to question, where I have been. And I have letters from my grandfather to my grandmother from France when he was in the Army corp or engineers during WWII.
Either way lets just remember those who paid the ultimate price.

The people of Turkey were awesome, while the people of Czech and the Netherlands were more stern, but more of a translation thing vs. out and out rude. I am not talking out of my ass thank you very much I have been there and experienced it. I am a nice to everyone I meet. When I am on vacation spending cash in someone elses economy, I expect them to be somewhat friendly, or I will spend it somewhere else.
Well, french are rude... sorry... Parisiens are rude
But in what are they anti-americans?
Did you get yelled at coz you were american? no, I dont think so...
That parisiens are rude toward tourists is a fact unfortunatly (I aint parisiens... But buses of tourists all day long, tourists who keep on asking where the freaking Louvre is... it might sometimes be annoying to live in the most touristic city in the world), but this has nothing to do with anti-americanism.
And dont worry, they are rude between each other also...
I aint saying EVERYBODY LOVES the Us in France, it's far from true, and most french will criticize americans, what they stand for and what they represent AS A WHOLE.
But in what can anyone consider that as anti-americanism?

I'm american
I don't stand for sh1t except myself. Don't blame me for somebody whose in it for the cash.
I think its funny too when euros complain about tourists when a fat chunk of their economy relies on visitors of their deep well full of history. I think the people I liked the most when I was in Europe were the people who were extra awesome and nice. And those people were the ones who got the biggest tip from the guy who brought us there. Maybe he's not saying that you guys hate America. Maybe he's saying you all need a lesson in some customer service.

i would rather be able to work less than more. All my relatives are always surprised when i tell them how much i work. Why would you want to work more?

So you can have more. Are you happy with what you have or would you like more. Harder work has higher rewards. I like nice things, so I work as much as possible. That is why most people try to come to the USA, so they can achieve more.
Sweet, maybe it is just the people of Paris, but it comes across the wrong way. If people are rude, then it makes you feel unwanted and unliked.

Can't argue with that, yes.
But once again it ain't due to the fact you're american
Also I agree on the fact that hard work (at a certain level of society... It's not the case for people doing less than 20k a year (factory workers for exemple)) is much more rewarded in the States.

Pathetic. The bourgeois rat race is a fools errand. I'd much rather work less and have rarely worked more than 30 hours a week. I have resented it when I have had to do more. It is much more economical to work smart rather than hard.
The average work week in the US during the 1950's was far less than it is now and believe me when I say that the quality of life was infinitely higher back then. I'm all for bringing back strict blue laws that prevented commerce on Sunday.
