    What do you guys like to BBQ and whats your fav. BBQ dish/meal/thing that you've had?

    Well, first let me clarify the difference between BARBEQUE and GRILLING.

    BBQ:
    Slow cooked, via indirect heat, and commonly lots of smoke

    Grilling:
    anything you do on your charcoal/gas grill.

    Personally, i love both, but prefer BBQ.
    BBQ brisket is always a win.. i like to do one with a wet rub thats horseraddish based.. very good. Ribs, of course. I like pork.. hm.. sausages are always good.
    the classic sides are always best.. slaw, beans, cornbread/biscuits.. you know.

    I like vinegar based sauces, and paprika based rubs.

    grilling is grilling.. nobody really dislikes it in essence.. but i DO belive BBQ is superior

    Some of the best BBQ I've ever had was at this place called "Pierce's Pitt Bar-B-Que" in Williamsburg Virginia.... they had some amazing stuff

    BBQ,

    This is where it is at. I was at a party and this dude marinated and grilled some ribs. This homeboy has won all kinds of contests and awards for just kick ass bad ass ribs. I asked this guy ,Yo whats up with that marinade? He would not tell me. After my good friend Patron f u c k e d him he told me. Marinate your ribs in mayonaise before you grill and when done the meat falls right off the bone. Thats right Mayo. It is a great marinade because it has egg and fat and when it gets hot on the grill it just falls off.

    in anycase.. have you tried this yourself? as someone thats been a chef for half of my working life.. it just sounds plain fishy.

    For a chain, Roadside BBQ dont have some bad ribs & the spicey vinnegar slaw is a force to beware!

    I've only been there once, but I have very fond memories of it (I also remember that it was packed... sooo many people...such good food

    medium well steak for me

    I like steak.

    But I had salmon for dinner, salmon and all kinds of fish are so freaking delicious!!!!

    Best I had was at Jack's in Nashville, right on the main drag three doors down from Tootsie's Wild Orchid Lounge

    I had some decent stuff at Fatboy's in NC at the Dixie Cup in '06

    rare-med/rare, always. i usually hit my steaks with some of my brown sugar chipotle based dry rubs.. kinda oldskool, kinda steakhouse, kinda tex mex all mixed in taste. brings out the meaty flavor like a CHAMP tho!
