    Default A Watch

Anybody know a good watch that is real thin and on an elastic band? One of the watches where the body is a cylinder and the band just looks like a bracelet or something, I want one for surfing cause regular watches are too big and a pain in the ass when the metal parts scrape agaisnt the board and whatnot, anybody have any idea what Im talking about?

Yeah yeah, I know exactly what you mean, man.. awesomely simple.

What, you cant find em no where?
And I dont know if they make waterproof ones, but if you find some, hook it up with the spot.

Always handy to have a backup in case my G-Shock ever happens to die for some ungodly ridikerous reason.

a Swatch? forget that. treat yourself to one of these (i own both and can vouch they always turn heads and perform)
but...these might be more of what you're looking for...

Yeah exactly like what Haole posted, I can't seem to find any of those that have a water proof case, the one I wear now I got for free in a pack of sticky notes or something so it's definetly not waterproof.

step up to a G-Shock. you won't have to worry about scraping it on your board and most of 'em are waterproof. or you can treat yourself to a sporty Nixon. if there's anything a man should splurge on...it should be his timepiece.

sticks are biodegradable, affordable, waterproof, stylish, durable, never need their battery changed, and can be used to hit things with in addition to their use as a timepiece

spend a little less than a month without coming within twenty miles of a clock. bring a few friends.

wake in the predawn light. bust out the wonnegan, cook some food and be on the move a while later. leave the site as it was when you arrived. walk/padle for a while. smear some deet. set up site. draw, talk, play with fire, bet filter duty and pieces of snickers in poker. fetch, fill and filter. cook more food. pack the sack at dusk. repeat. go home and be afraid of loud noises and automobiles.

if for some strange reason you still like knowing the time, put the stick in the ground with the compass.

How about this? I had one made out of neoprene rubber (waterproof) orange. Didn't have to worry about it damaging my good surf watch. Come to think of it, I need a new one. The last one was damaged by the saltwater and sand. But I suggest to go with this type of watch.

Hey Osenbai, I just saw your location. We'll be heading down towards Williamsburg around July time. We should hook up and skate!!

Nixon Metal Dork. These watches are terrible. They always come back to the shop I work at after failing repeatedly. We no longer stock them, and never will again.

Get the Nixon watch with something like 100 beaches tide charts pre-programmed into the watch.

All the All Black Roadie. I have that one, so you can be cool too.

i never said that the metal dork was water tested or suitable for surfing. i said i just owned one. i must be the 1-out-of-5 dentists that this watch hasn't failed on.
