think there has already been a thread about it.

Its gonna be one of those movies probably every person who ever had that book read to them as a kid will go out and buy. I hope it makes Spike a very rich man.

I think the way the ads work is they use key words to set an appropriate ad for the people viewing the page. I got the same ad when i opened the thread.

The only problem i see with the movie is that it's based off of a 15 or so page picture book. So they're going to have to add in and twist up a lot.

The actual book was 10 sentences long. The screenplay: 111 pages

10 sentences of absolute awesome. The book left plenty of room for expansion.

The thing that made that book so good was the pictures, they were so simplistic and they were a huge encouragement for imagination because as a young kid I think everyone wanted to experience what was in that book. I am excited to see Spike's interpretation of it. That's one of those books that I can't imagine my development without. Reading it today is like showering in Nostalgia. I really don't think I have ever been this hyped to see a movie. I'm gonna be really disappointed if it sucks.
