BMX and longboarding?

well guys alot of my friends bmx and im gettin sucked into it. im the only kid around here that boards so you couold understand how most of my friends bike and how i would be interested in it. so the question is could it be possible to bike and board? anybody else out there do it?

Biking is a great way to stay in shape, but BMX bikes are limited to BMX riding. Get a good mountain bike and tear up the city.
It's what I did.
And I'm cool.
Right?

i second the mtb idea. love it! just a half suspension instead of full so you can do some bmx stuff i guess? haha

Me and my best friend both mtb and skate a ton. What's wrong with having as much fun as possible?

I raced DH mountian bikes, cyclocross, and road bikes. Rode street and park BMX and this was all as I tried to balance my practice on a shortboard. Once I hurt myself too much on the bikes, I moved on to longboarding. I love biking.

I haven't been out at all this summer. Kinda bummed. Used to put more than 500 miles on my bike in three months.
I'm at some 1800 miles on my current bike, a satin black Giant Yukon.

i rode pro dh for giant for awhile and pro bmx on a 24 for dmr out of the uk... and all this while riding down hills on boards so yes its possible... you will come to learn that the crashes you have on a bike are way crazier than your crashes on a board... you will shred harder on your board... well thats what hapened with me
