I've been out of commission for a week now. Can't skate, I hobble when I walk, and I just today regained my ability to stretch my left leg all the way out. I have a garage sesh tomorrow and the bomb on saturday. Im juggling enduring the pain with taking painkillers from the health center. Feels like someone put a brick in my left thigh. I thought when I fell a week ago and didn't draw blood or anything that I was a winner, but this sucks more than any road rash I've ever had.
Couple bitches on a thin bike path didn't move out of the way while I was doing about 15mph. They turned around and saw me coming, but didn't wanna walk off the path, so they shuffled to make room, which wasn't enough, so I tried going around them on the grass, but hit a chunk of asphalt, and flew fowards with 2 big textbooks and a laptop on my back to add to my weight when I hit the ground. My left thigh bore the brunt of my weight since my hands collapsed as soon as I hit.
I had a wrench and wallet in my pocket (wrench on the skin side D: ) and I got flung off when practicing slides... The bruise hurt more than the elbow road-rash >_<
