    I saw some guy in Santa Cruz hauling ass on a pair. Looked kinda cool. Personally it seems like a passing fad though.

    There was a lot of hype about them when they came out a while ago. More of a novelty item, but still really fun and interesting. They are great for pedestrian slalom, and having a low-profile easy to carry form of transportation. Apparently these things can handle some speed, too

    they are hard as #### to ride! but they are pretty fun, my little cousin can do crazy #### with them at a skatepark
