My Broken Blackberry Storm

So I called verizon for a replacement, and said the thing was overheating. So now they are going to send me a new one, but the real deal is, the screen is cracked. When I ship the thing back, should I say it was damaged in shipping, or am I just screwed? Oh well.

It actually did overheat on some occasions though.

Verizons good at calling a bluff. If you package it well, they can argue that it couldn't have cracked in shipping, but if you do a piss poor job at packaging it, the blame rests on you.

I figured. Ugh...time to plead the fifth...maybe I can replace the screen before I send it out?.....

so you called in on your warrenty? or just tried to get a new one by saying it was defective?

if its on warrenty, i never even tell em whats wrong. just a "i paid for full. youre obligated to gimme a new one no matter what i do to it." haha.

Well, it is defective. The mother ####er won't turn on, and not because of me!

I just know that if it has damage like the screen being cracked, they put the fault on you, and make you pay. So I said it was the phone not turning on...but they didn't ask if it had any other problems, yadidamean?
