QFT. Been successful with this method several times while crappie fishing off the dock! Its crazy. I primarily used it on worms.

Re: WD-40 the myth!!!!!!!
The WD-40 web site says it is a petroleum based product, not a fish oil.
Fish oil in WD-40 is an urban legend.

Re: WD-40 the myth!!!!!!!
Just so happens that my Dad was a launch commander for the Atlas during the "cold War" he was the one that informed me of it's intended purpose years ago (as a teen) using it to lube my bearings. I have preached those words to skaters scurrying thru their Dad's garage looking for "bearing lube" for many years now.
While at Wright Patterson Air force Base he also brought me a gallon of liquid to use on my motor cycle visor..It was invented to clear the windshield of cockpits in inclimate weather.. it was later marketed as "Rain-X"

Re: WD-40 the myth!!!!!!!
Spray it on the wall to remove crayon? Let's hope you have a nice gloss finish. I'm not trying it but I'd bet if you use it on flat finishes it'll leave you a nice grease spot, in lieu of crayon.
Keep it on hand if you're doing some spray painting. Afterwards, spritz your hands, rub them together like washing and kiss the paint goodbye. Of course it'll take care of overspray on your deck too. Use gripgum on the grip. Lifts the overspray off nicely.

Re: WD-40 the myth!!!!!!!
MD-40 has it's purposes, but I don't go out and look for crap to spray. I also don't live by the rednecks code of fixing things:
"If it moves and ain't suppose to, use duct tape. If it don't move and it's suppose to, use WD-40."
I prefer 30 minute epoxy, brakes parts cleaner and WLG.

I never tried WD-40 on crackers...
We could try to spray some on the True Huh! thread because it's all locked up... but I doubt it will budge.

Re: WD-40 the myth!!!!!!!
You keep rubbing WLG under your nose, sniffing brake parts cleaner while watching 30 min epoxy dry in a closed space... well you might find yourself snacking on WD40 and crackers one of these day. Be careful out there.

Toothpaste works on hickies.
Nail polish remover works on ring worms too... Off topic but you never know. Helmets can get mighty nasty.
Off topic story: I knew a kid that passed out and these jocks shaved his head. They found he had a BAD case of ring worms all over his scalp. I man, I saw a picture, it looked BAD. Made me want to shave my head to see what was living under my scalp...
My head is itchy now.

That or Windex. I think it's a 3rd cousin, twice removed from WD40.
Greeks use it.

My head is itchy now.
Acetone* works on crabs too.
If that don't kill 'em, try a cocktail of Mr. Clean* and Clorox*. Guaranteed to relieve the itch.
Cracker.
I am in no way associated with nor do I endorse these products. Furthermore I do not advocate the use of these products and/or condoms to prevent the contraction of crablice, ringworm, scabies, the funk, the hoots, the dripdick, or the puscock
