nutmeg
yerba mate
yerba santa
mullein
chamomile
lamon balm

its actually SF that got me wondering what the Salvia thing was all about.

then Erowid.org helped me understand just what a heavy ****ing trip that would be. and the majority of the experiences tend toward the "bad and messed up" -- even on Erowid which seems to be a pretty objective site.

i think way too many young people think this stuff is just another recreational drug. from what i've read, it's way beyond recreation. and people doing it in all the wrong places with the wrong set of friends and really with no other intention than just "get high" -- I don't think they really understand what they're in for.. culturally I wonder if this generation is really mentally set for this kind of trip -- if you're doing it as an escape, that's a really bad rationale because this stuff seems to tap into a lot of the things you're running away from.

in the end it looks heavy as ####, something to be respected, and personally not something I would have time or desire for at this stage in life.

No, you probably have a sage plant which is in the same genus as the drug "Salvia", which is actually Salvia Divinorum, a rarer species that has to be cultivated.
