Guys, what do you think about this?

Guys, need your thoughts, im confused.

Lately there are allot of charities for women with difficulties, and with difficulties I mean support groups and organizations where women who have been abused verbally or physically mostly by men go to. This is a topic in conversations are has been stressing me out a little.

Anyway a woman i know was talking about this with her friends and it became this kind of man-hating discussion so I tried to make some sense out of it. The thing is that some women generalize about men when they talk about this subject, and make it seem like all men are bad even though they know this is not so.

I was alone with no backup, but I told the group of women that women tend to get more attention when they are treated badly by men, while some men have to endure crazy treatment and take irrational and completely out of line actions and just take it.

I'm not talking about physical abuse because think this is wrong in any case. I mean that some women (note some) think that they are not causing any stress (or sentimental damage) to guys in any case but that only men do. I told them that maybe its because men don't complain when it happens but just accept the craziness, big mistake, they almost attacked me physically for saying that

I know that some cases are way beyond what I have ever experienced, seen or saw on TV (Ike and Tina etc) but I don't like it when men are suddenly seen as people who are likely to be abusers and that women are seen like victims.

I'm not sure if I explained what mean well enough, but this has me stressing a bit. I don't think it's fair, and I want to know if you guys ever heard a conversation in this direction and what do you think about it.

I didn't want no beef with the women so I stepped out of the conversation, but I was like, damn, wtf, you know?

its like any case with spousal abuse.. men only beat women, mentally abuse, etc. its just part of the BS within our society. women especially seem to be MUCH more on the "oh FUCK that, and fuck you too!" level... with most things involved.

i just roll my eyes and stay out of it..

I don't care for that "all men are chauvinist pigs" crap. It takes two to tango. I think it's rare to actually blame only the man. I could see a situation like that, but my from observations, it's a little bit of both. In most cases, you can't blame only the man.

I've heard "he hits me because he loves me," or "if I leave him, he will kill me!" That's excuses tied with fear.

I knew a woman that solved her abusive husband problem with a can of gasoline and a match while he was asleep. I fail to understand how these women can be so trapped when it seems like there could be many ways out of a situation like that.

I dunno. I won't hit a woman... I don't even like smacking ass while role playing in bed...

Did anyone mention vindictive ex-girlfriends whose main goal is to ruin their ex-boyfriends life? You don't hear much about that... I could list stories on that too.

lol yea its a stupid title, didn't think when i made it, but thanks for the thoughts anyway.

I feel better knowing that other guys out there are hearing this kinda thing too. Cause i was starting to think that it was a topic and opinion guys should accept for their gender of the species. i just don't like the stereotyping and kind of getting blamed for things people do that i don't even know. and the more the conversation goes, the angrier the women look at me lol

I was almost afraid to ask f they wanted another round, they we're really into it
so yea, i'll stay away when i see such conversations going on, and try to get that t-shirt, lol.

The double standard with this topic is so great its not even funny. For example, my ex-girlfriend was a bit of a crazy. (Not a stereotype, but just bare with me) I couldn't joke or anything without offending her in some unholy way, which would cause her to slap me repeatedly. Now, I really didn't care, I'm a man and if I so choose to make a joke about dead bunnies as we walk past a fur coat store, then so be it! But after breaking up and still seeing her for a while in the same group of people, the joke began to get old. I mean, she would throw #### at me like air hockey hitter-thingies (no idea what they're called) and actually attempt to hurt me for no apparent reason. Again, I could care less. What got me though was that I wasn't allowed to retaliate, the "girl" in the situation had to be protected against what she claimed was my manly abuse. I never once hit her, not even lightly like you do out of smitten, and I never once verbally abused her. And THEN, on top of all that you get these feminist groups coming along and making broad generalizations about men, how women should have everything and how men in my situation should continue to be shoved around by some bitchy little girl who can't get over herself.

And THAT, my friends, is why I have given up women for skateboarding.

I doubt a girl could get more fucked up than that... When parents are brought into the picture, it crosses the line.

Worst thing I ever did to a girl was leave a dead cat under her windshield wiper while she was at work. I didn't kill the cat. I found it in the road. She found out about a clandestine secret that NO ONE knew but who was involved, nor did I tell my friends... and she found out some how and decided it was her duty spread it around like wild fire. She told everyone she recognized from highschool, even if they didn't know her or me. This girl stalked me. I've seen her collection of information about be. She even had my little cousins full name and birth date in that folder... Yeah. No sh[I

Nah, I was "doing" married chick whose husband was... somewhat of a dangerous individual. He found out. Him and his blue wearing buddies went looking for me. Nothing big. They couldn't find me.
